I'm getting a "Site Maintenance" Error
"Site
Maintenance" usually means that we're making an improvement to the
database that your account is stored on. While we're doing this, you will not
be able to access your account. In most instances, this maintenance will last
only a few hours. Please note:
·
After the maintenance is over, you will still be able to login with the
same password.
·
Your profile and account will not be affected by the maintenance.
·
We don't do site maintenance on all accounts at the same time, so it is
possible that some of your friends will be able to access the site while your
account is unavailable.
·
It is not necessary to contact us about Site Maintenance. If your
maintenance lasts for an extended period of time, however, please let us know.

Upload Images
Image Size Recommendations
Image Sizes for
Web Delivery should be less than 50k (50,000bytes) per image, with a
recommended size of 35k (35,000bytes). This is the optimal delivery size for
most full sized images. Images should ideally be no larger than 400x600
pixels portrait or 600x400 pixels landscape. Smaller widths are recommended
for landscape orientations.
Images should be uploaded only in 72dpi. Images that are uploaded in 300dpi
will be approx 4 times larger in a browser than in your image editing
application.
To avoid you're images being deleted, we suggest that you following these
guidelines:
| NEW IMAGE UPLOAD GUIDELINES |
|
| Pixel Size |
File Size |
| No longer than 800 pixels on the
longest side |
Files should not be larger than 200K.
JPG file format ONLY |
| Images that are out of specification
in either size or dimension will be deleted. We would recommend that you save
your images as JPEG images (.jpg) and keep them under the size indicated. |
|
Content
Guidelines
When uploading images please remember that Model Pictures is a community of young teens as well as adults and as such ALL Adult
oriented content (hustler style, or sexually explicit images, images
showing genitalia, images involving sexual instruments, scenes
depicting sex or extreme subjects etc.), are just not appropriate on
the site and you should not attempt to upload them.
Nudity (glamour style etc.) and artistic nudity are wonderful art forms - they have and always will be very welcome on this site - they often show a
models or photographers range and interest and are often a deciding factor in a
photographers decision to work with a model or not, and vice versa. So it's
fine to have nude images as part of a portfolio.
Since, content of an adult or sexually explicit nature is not welcome or
appropriate on this site several things will occur if attempts are made to
upload inappropriate images. The images will be deleted, the profile may be
suspended or disabled, and access to upload images will be removed. If you have
any questions regarding what is appropriate or not please contact us
Image Type Recommendations
It is highly recommended that you upload jpeg images (.JPG files). Other file
formats are generally much larger for the same image size because they do not
employ any compression to the image. Two file formats that are not
recommended are GIF Files and BMP files (the later is a windows native
format and many Microsoft programs save this format as a default).
Images that are oversized will be resized by the Site Administrators. This
often means that .gif and .bmp files end up very small looking because to reach
the recommended file size the image will need far more shrinking than a .jpg
file would.
Image Review
All images on Model Pictures are reviewed by the Site Administrators. Please
make sure that you read the image upload guidelines carefully, and pay
particular attention to the image restrictions regarding appropriate content.
